CHILD POLICY OF SUNDARBANS TOUR 1 NIGHTS 2 DAYS PACKAGE :-
  • One Child below 3 years is Complimentary.
  • However, in case of 02 children below 03 years, 50% of one adult charge is to be paid for 02 children combined. One extra mattress will be provided for both the children.
  • Children between 03 years and 07 years: 50% of adult charges.
  • Children above 07: Full adult charges.
NOTES :-
  • Vehicle used for the Sundarban two Day Trip for transfer from Kolkata to Godhkhali/Sonakhali and return would be AC.
  • Choice of vehicles for the Sundarban two Day Tour is determined by India Beacons Sojourn depending upon economies of cost. In case you prefer vehicles of your own choice, additional cost is to be borne by you.
  • Boat/Steamer used for travel in Sundarbans would be Non AC.
  • Itinerary is subject to change/alterations as the visit to the various watchtowers depend upon weather, passenger’s safety and tide conditions. However, for the Sundarban 1 Night 2 Days Tour, our aim would always be to cover all watchtowers and destinations as mentioned in the itinerary.

Sundarbans Tour 1 Nights 2 days Package: Do's and Don't

DO’S :-
  • Wear light cotton dress preferably with Green, Ash, light Brown.
  • Avoid drinking tap water and prefer filtered water or coconut water. 
  • Do not carry Mineral water (Less than 5 Litres) unless it is part of your medication as Sundarbans is a “No Plastic zone” .
  • Carry some light snacks and fruits with you to munch. However, do not carry Chips, Lays or foodstuff in Plastic wrappers  as Sundarbans is a “No Plastic zone”.
  • For your  Sundarbans tour 1 Night 2 days package from Kolkata, carry Binoculars to view distant animals and landscapes
  • Stay quiet while spotting animals on your Sundarbans tour – silence increases your chances. Carry sunglasses, hats and sun tan lotion
  • Carry torch with spare batteries.
  • Preferably carry cash as possibility of accessing ATM is remote. Only SBI ATM is available at Gosaba Carry common medicines for cough, cold, stomach upset etc.
  • Most importantly, carry torch with spare batteries Carry spare batteries for your cameras as you might not get a chance to recharge your batteries.
DONT’S :-
  • Do not carry any polythene bag as Sunderbans National Park is a “No Plastic Zone”. 
  • Consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited in Sundarban (Boat & Jungle).
  • Don’t pollute the pristine habitat by throwing anything out from the boat/Launch 
  • Don’t play any sound system including loud speakers or shouting as it disturbs wild life and co-visitors thumb rule is that no one should go out of water craft
  • Do not enter in the Sunderbans National park/Tiger reserve without valid permit which can be obtained from Sunderban Tiger reserve’s offices at Canning, Sonakhali, Sajnekhali 
  • Staying within the Sunderbans National Park/Tiger reserve area is permitted only from Sunrise to Sunset Hunting, fishing, damage to flora & habitat entry in core area and movement in non permitted forest locations is viewed as serious offence. 
  • Regulations by the forest department Appreciate the colours and sounds of nature. 
  • Treat the Protected Area/wilderness area with respect. 
  • Dress in colours that blend with the natural environment. 
  • Keep a reasonable distance from wild animals, and do not provoke them. 
  • No entry after sunset and before sunrise is permitted in the Protected Area. 
  • Shouting, loud singing, making noise, teasing or chasing of animals are prohibited. 
  • Carrying of guns, fire arms, weapons, bows, arrows and crackers, inflammable materials are strictly prohibited, as per the provisions of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972, and is punishable by law. 
  • Carelessly throwing and leaving trash litter, peels of fruits etc is strictly prohibited. Damage of plant or animal life is strictly prohibited. 
  • Bathing in the river water is not allowed. 
  • Disorderly conduct, misbehavior and drunken state are not permitted in the Forest Lodge and for any offence in this respect the tourist shall be liable to vacate the lodge. 

Payment Terms, Cancellation Policy, Refund Policy, Jurisdiction

PAYMENT TERMS :-
  • 50% of the total cost of the Sundarbans Tour 1 Night 2 Days package is to be paid to confirm a booking. The balance 50% is to be paid at least 30 days before the date of starting of package tour.
  • However, if the package tour is booked within a period of less than 30 days from the date of starting of the package, 100% of the package cost is to be paid to confirm the booking.
  • Where an advance payment is received, and in the unlikely event that the remaining 50% balance is not received at least 15 days prior to the tour commencement date, India Beacons Sojourn reserves the absolute right to cancel the advance booking and release the booking without assigning any cause or reason thereafter.
  • No claims, refunds, or compensation shall be entertained in such cases, and no legal proceedings or disputes shall be entertained in this regard. Users expressly agree to waive any right to initiate legal action over such cancellation.
  • Payment for bookings can be made by cash in our office or by Cheque/UPI or by direct transfer to our Current A/c.
  • Under no circumstances, will cash deposit be accepted in our Bank Account.
CANCELLATION POLICY :-
  1. If written intimation is received at least 30 days or more in advance from the date of the START OF the SUNDARBANS TOUR 1 NIGHT 2 DAYS PACKAGE, then 30% of Total Bill amount will be charged as cancellation fees.
  2. If written intimation is received within a period of 29 days and 15 days of the date of the START OF  the SUNDARBANS TOUR 1 NIGHT 2 DAYS PACKAGE, 50% of the Total Bill will be charged as cancellation Fees.
  3. No refund is allowed if written intimation of cancellation is received within 14 days of date of the START OF  the SUNDARBANS TOUR 1 NIGHT 2 DAYS PACKAGE.
  4. If the tour gets cancelled or becomes impossible to conduct within a period of less than a month from the date of start of the tour, as a result of any natural calamity like flood, earthquakes, spread of epidemic, cyclones etc. beyond the control of India Beacons Sojourn, India Beacons Sojourn will not refund any amount whether accepted by way of any advance or the full payment as the case may be.
  5. No amount will be refunded if the tour is cancelled in apprehension of any natural calamity or epidemic or as a result of any Bandhs, strikes, illness of travelling guest, riots etc. beyond the control of India Beacons Sojourn.
REFUND POLICY :-
  • Refund of advance, if any will be made within one month from the date of cancellation of booking. 
  • Refund, will be paid by cheque/online transfer/UPI and by no other mode of payment.
  • Refund will be made only to the account/UPI number from which the advance was made.
